Okoamankra Kwame Akwonu X (Abraham Ekow Halm) was appointed Board Chairman of the National Homeownership Fund Limited in August 2025 by the President of the Republic of Ghana. He is a distinguished traditional leader with extensive experience in governance, mediation, cultural advocacy, and regional development.He has served as President of the Enyan Abaasa Traditional Council since 1993 and is Vice President of the Central Regional House of Chiefs, as well as a Member of the National House of Chiefs. His national service includes board roles at the Lands Commission and the National Commission on Culture, alongside key security, land use, arbitration, and chieftaincy dispute resolution committees. He holds a Diploma in Nursing from the University of the District of Columbia (USA) and a BA (Hons) in Economics and Sociology from the University of Ghana.
