Asokore Mampong Affordable Housing Mortgage Programme

The National Mortgage Scheme is working with Republic Bank Ghana Plc. to procure 450 units of the completed Asokore Mampong Affordable Houses for the Ghana Medical Association (GMA). The one, two- and three-bedroom apartment blocks were completed by SSNIT as part of the Kuffour-Affordable Housing Projects started in 2005. Through this programme, doctors will acquire these affordable houses through a blended mortgage interest rate below market, allowing more public sector workers who otherwise could not afford it, to own homes.
