Key Projects
Through successful collaborations with key public and private sector players such as TDC Development Company, GCB Bank, Republic Bank, Stanbic Bank, and GCB REITs, NHF has facilitated the delivery of affordable housing solutions for Ghanaians. These strategic partnerships have enabled the development and acquisition of various housing units across the country, tailored to meet the needs of public sector workers and the general population.
Completed Projects
- 201 Housing Units (NHF Estates, Tema Community 22-Phase II)
- NHF funded the development of a 201-unit model gated community in Tema, Community 22 for all Ghanaians. The project includes:
- 22 three-bedroom townhouses
- 69 two-bedroom townhouses
- 22 two-bedroom detached houses
- 4 three-bedroom detached houses
- 2 three-bedroom semi-detached houses
- 84 apartment units across 14 blocks
- 204 Housing Units (NHF Estates, Tema Community 22-Phase I)
- This project featured one- and two-bedroom units with concessional mortgages for public sector workers at Tema Community 22.
- Adom City Housing Acquisition
- The NHF, in collaboration with Republic Bank, Stanbic Bank, and GCB REITs, financed the acquisition of affordable 2-bedroom detached and semi-detached units at Adom City. These homes were made available to Ghanaians under both mortgage and rent-to-own schemes.
- Asokore Mampong Affordable Houses
- NHF in partnership with Republic Bank procured houses for members of the Ghana Medical Association (GMA) under the NMS in Asokore Mampong, Kumasi.
- Yabah Properties
- In partnership with Republic Bank, NHF funded twenty-two (22) two- bedroom semi-detached units from Yabah Properties and Investment Ghana for Ghanaians under the mortgage scheme at Kasoa.
- Tema Community 26 Affordable Housing
- NHF partnered with GCB REITs to acquire 40 housing units (2- and 3-bedroom) from TDC Development Company Limited. These units, located near Tema General Hospital, were procured through a rent-to-own scheme and targeted at teachers, nurses, and other public sector workers.
Ongoing Projects
- NHF Estates, Shai Hills
- This involves 50 units of four- and two-bedroom houses currently under development. The Fund has an additional 80 acres of land for development.
- NHF Estates, Tema Community 22-Phase III
- NHF is developing 129 two- and three-bedroom units, expanding the existing gated community at Tema, Community 22
- Pokuase Affordable Housing Project
- NHF is a partner in the Pokuase Affordable Housing Project
Upcoming Projects
- Tema Community 5 Project
- NHF is poised to deliver yet another model community at its Tema Community 5 site.
- District Housing Programme
- NHF is leading government efforts to decentralize housing through the District Housing Programme. This involves the building of modern, resilient and sustainable communities to provide decent houses for public sector workers.

This project featured one- and two-bedroom units with concessional mortgages for public sector workers at Tema Community 22.
