About Us:
The National Homeownership Fund Limited (NHF) is a state-owned company with the mandate to address challenges of homeownership in Ghana by creating a framework that encourages the participation of the private sector in the homeownership market. We are currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join our team and help strengthen our procurement operations in line with industry best practices.
Job Summary:
The Procurement Officer will be responsible for overseeing and managing the procurement of goods and services, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, and maintaining a transparent, cost-efective, and timely supply chain system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies.
- Assist in the selection of appropriate suppliers and contractors to promote good procurement practices with due regard to sustainability, ethical purchasing standards and costing.
- Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing and inventory.
- Provide inputs for the preparation of the annual budget.
- Liaise with internal departmentsto forecast procurement needs.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues or dispute.
Qualification & Experience:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration,Social Sciences or related field.
- A minimum of one (1) year post-qualification work experience.
- Must have completed one (1) National Service.
- Strong negotiation, communication and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
