HON. KOFI ARKO NOKOE

Board Member

Hon. Kofi Arko Nokoe is a distinguished Ghanaian politician and a committed member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). He is currently serving his second term as the Member of Parliament for the Evalue Ajomoro-Gwira Constituency in the Western Region of Ghana.

In addition to his parliamentary responsibilities, he holds several important leadership roles: he serves as a Board Member, National Homeownership Fund Limited, Chairman, Human Resources, Policy and Governance Committee of the Ghana Homeownership Fund Limited Board, Vice Chairman, Committee on Economy and Development, Parliament of Ghana, Member, Energy Committee, Parliament of Ghana, Member, Public Administration and State Interests Committee, Parliament of Ghana. 

Steering Committee Member, Global Young Parliamentarians Initiative of the World Bank Group, representing Western and Central Africa, Organizer, Young Parliamentarians Forum, Ghana.

He has also served on key committees in the 8th Parliament of Ghana, including the Education Committee, the Special Budget Committee, and the Foreign Affairs Committee. Hon. Nokoe has a Master of Science (MSc) in Development Management, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Master of Science (MSc) in Energy Economics, Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), Master of Science (MSc) in Energy Law (pursuing), University of Ghana, Graduate Diploma in Law, University of Law, UK, Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History, University of Ghana, Professional Teacher’s Certificate ‘A’, Komenda College of Education. 

Beyond politics, Hon. Kofi Arko Nokoe is passionate about community development and youth empowerment. He is the Founder of the Axim Youth Alliance (AYA), a vibrant, youth-led, development-oriented organisation based in Axim, dedicated to nurturing leadership, social progress, and opportunities for young people.
